About Me
MBA (Yaounde 1), MSC (Università Ca’ Foscari Venezia) PhD (Younde I university).
My career has been shaped by a deep sense of purpose, resilience, and a commitment to creating meaningful change in my community and beyond. Growing up in Cameroon, I witnessed firsthand the devastating impact of poor governance, conflict, and poverty on individuals and families. These experiences, coupled with the tragic stories of friends who risked their lives through irregular migration, ignited a determination to address these systemic challenges. This determination has guided my journey as a Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist, applied researcher, and educator dedicated to fostering sustainable development, peacebuilding, and humanitarian action.

Extraordinary Experiences
I began my research journey at the University of Yaoundé 1, where I earned a Bachelor’s Degree in International Relations. I later pursued a Master of Arts in International Relations and a Ph.D. specializing in Migration Studies. My doctoral research focused on understanding refugee policies and their impact on voluntary repatriation and urban integration for displaced populations in Cameroon. To expand my expertise, I obtained a Master of Science in Development Cooperation and Humanitarian Action from Università Ca’ Foscari Venezia in Italy, equipping me with an interdisciplinary approach to addressing complex global challenges.
Professionally, I have had the privilege of serving in diverse roles that blend academic rigor with practical application. Currently, I am the Senior In-Country Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning Consultant for the International Republican Institute (IRI) in Cameroon. In this role, I lead efforts to generate actionable evidence that informs decision-making and strengthens governance systems. I also serve as a National Expert Impact Evaluation Consultant for GOPA Worldwide Consultants/GIZ, where I assess development initiatives to ensure their effectiveness and alignment with sustainable goals. One of my key contributions includes leading evaluations of diaspora-led projects in Cameroon, focusing on technology transfer, capacity building, and local development.
In addition to these roles, I have worked as the Deputy Director at the Heritage University Institute of Peace and Development Studies, where I contributed to peacebuilding and governance initiatives. As a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Applied Research Consultant for the African Philanthropy Network, I led studies to enhance civil society actors’ access to corporate funding for social justice work. My contribution to a project informing Plan International’s 2020- 2026 strategic plan further expanded my expertise, enabling me to conduct donor mapping and assess local fundraising capacities across 16 countries in West and Central Africa.
Monitoring, Evaluation, Research, and advocacy are central to my career. I have published extensively on topics such as women’s empowerment, urban refugee protection, and e-governance. Notable works include “E-Governance as a Panacea to Enhance Local Development in Cameroon Post-COVID-19” and “Championing an Inclusive Women’s Empowerment Agenda in West Africa.” My publications are not just academic exercises but tools to inspire policy changes and practical interventions.
Teaching has also been a significant part of my journey. As Deputy Director, Coordinator of the Master’s program in Peace and Development Studies, and Lecturer at Heritage University, I have mentored students and taught courses on migration, governance, conflicts, and research methodology. I am passionate about shaping the next generation of leaders who will drive sustainable change.
What drives me is the belief that collaboration and evidence-based strategies can create sustainable solutions to global challenges. My vision is a world where governance protects human rights, communities thrive, and migration becomes a choice rather than a necessity. Every project I undertake, whether monitoring, research, evaluation, or teaching, is rooted in this vision.
Let’s connect and collaborate to advance sustainable development and build a better future. Together, we can turn challenges into opportunities and create meaningful change.
